Speyside, Scotland - The Glenrothes 1978 Vintage is the last of the highly cherished, but heartbreakingly rare, 1970s Vintages from The Glenrothes. It comprises a small selection of casks, hand-picked by then Malt Master, John Ramsay at the very peak of their maturity. This whisky has a silky delivery with notes of rich vanilla, caramel fudge, fruit compote and a long, spicy finish.
